DNA Sequence Lab

Paste a DNA sequence to analyse it, scan for SpCas9 targets, check for Golden Gate Type IIS sites, or run a local alignment.


Protein Lab

Translate DNA and find ORFs, compute physicochemical properties (MW, pI, charge, GRAVY, extinction coefficient), plot Kyte–Doolittle hydropathy, and scan for common sequence motifs — all in the browser.

Pick a target gene and an edit type, then run it. The guide RNA anneals to the protospacer, Cas cuts 3 bp upstream of the NGG PAM, and the sequence is repaired with a lesion — an indel (knockout) or a substitution — with the bases colour-coded throughout.
